Dayna is currently in her fifth and final year of Penn State's Archtectural Engineering program. She will graduate in May of 2017 with an integrated Bachelor/Master of Architectural Engineering degree with a specialization in mechanical systems design. On campus, Dayna is a member of several organizations including the Penn State student branch of ASHRAE and Penn State's Theme Park Engineering Group.

Over the past three years, Dayna has spent her summers in Orlando, FL and Glendale, CA interning with exp U.S. Services. At exp, Dayna worked on many different projects for Walt Disney World, Disneyland, and Universal Studios. This past summer in the exp Glendale office, she had the unique experience to step out of her focus area of mechanical systems design and work within the electrical discipline. Dayna has a love for themed entertainment and is thankful that she has been able to combine architectural engineering with this passion thus far in her three internships. She plans to pursue a career within the themed entertainment industry after graduation.

Outside of work and studies, Dayna enjoys traveling. During the summer of 2013, she visited Spain for a ten day trip to Grenada, Sevilla, Madrid, and Barcelona. The following summer she studied abroad in Rome, Italy as part of the Sedi di Roma program. This past summer, Dayna enjoyed exploring Southern California while living in Glendale.
